Missing dog in fatal accident found

Dunn County (WQOW) - The missing dog of a man killed in a weather related crash is found.

On Thursday, a Minnesota man was killed after his semi flipped due to slippery conditions on I-94, at the bottom of the Knapp hill.

Later that day, state patrol learned the man always traveled with his German shepherd, Molly, who went missing at the time of the crash. Troopers searched for Molly and didn't have any luck, until Friday. State trooper John Vernon found Molly about a mile away from the crash scene after spotting her prints along a ditch.

State patrol says Molly greeting the trooper with a wagging tail. They took her to a veterinarian in Menomonie where she was looked at and will be picked up by her family.
