Generosity of community shines during drive for homeless students

Posted:

Eau Claire (WQOW)- A clothing drive to help local kids in need get the basics they go without is underway.

WQOW News 18 has teamed up with the Eau Claire school district to collect socks and underwear for homeless students.  This year, nearly 250 students have experienced homelessness.   Since we launched the Top Drawer drive last week some very generous donations have already been dropped off. Thank you to everyone who has participated!

If you'd like to help, you can drop off clothes at the WQOW studios on Highway 93, or at the Eau Claire school district office on Main Street.
