VERONA -- Verona's Caleb Baltes wins the 2013 Morgan Stanley Shoot-Out by one-stroke shooting a 144 total between the two days of competition. Baltes was the leader after day one, shooting a 70, and his 74 on Thursday was just enough to give him the win. Peter Webb of Waunakee finished right behind in second. Webb shot a 71 on the final day. Baltes' teammate Tyler Reinecke finished third at 147 and he was followed by Waunakee's Max Murphy at 148 and Madison Edgewood's Johnny Decker at 150.
Verona also took the team title thanks to the play of Baltes, Reinecke and their teammates, combining for a tournament low 620. Madison Memorial finished second at 623 and Madison Edgewood was third at 631. This was the 22rd year of competition for this tournament.
