Police: Passengers rob taxi driver


MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police Department says a robbery of a taxicab driver happened around 3 a.m. this morning on Brentwood Parkway.

The 30-year-old driver told police he was robbed at gun point when he dropped the suspects off.  Money was taken and they ran away.  There were no injuries reported.

The suspect who held the driver at gun point is described as a black male, around 18-22 years old, about 120-135 pounds, wearing dark jeans, a black sweatshirt with writing, and a dark baseball hat with a red rim.

The other suspect is described as a black male, around 20-23 years old, about 130-150 pounds, wearing a blue shirt, and a baseball cap.
