Tammy Baldwin speaks at Beloit College commencement

BELOIT (WKOW) -- Senator Tammy Baldwin was the speaker at the Beloit College graduation ceremony this weekend.

Baldwin was unanimously selected by senior class officers to speak to the graduates on Sunday.

More than 300 students graduated. In her speech, Baldwin urged them to take on big challenges with this new chapter in their lives.

"This is a world class college right here, nestled in south central Wisconsin, it has an amazingly talented student body and they're keeping up the great reputation of the college," says Baldwin.

Baldwin says she knew some of the students at the college, who worked on her campaign. She was awarded an honorary doctorate of law at the ceremony.
