"Ice Wave" damages homes on Lake Mille Lacs

Lake Mille Lacs (WQOW/AP) - The National Weather Service says strong winds and loose ice caused a so-called "ice wave" on Lake Mille Lacs in Minnesota. The ice pushed in doors and windows at several homes, causing damage. The Minnesota DNR says about ten miles of shoreline are covered with the ice, with some ice chunks are as tall as thirty feet.
