Implosion fail, good-hearted burglar and Lindsay horsing around

Here are a few fun stories that caught our attention Monday morning on Wake Up. First, we've all heard of robberies that end with stolen items never being returned, but in Florida, the items were returned by the very person who stole them.

The burglar had second thoughts about his illegal activity and returned his haul. The man had backed up his pickup truck at a home last week and left with a load of household items. Then he returned everything along with $50 and a note of apology. The owner of the house says she heard the guy return and saw him put all her stuff back. In the letter, the man said he thought the house was vacant and he recycles metal.

In Australia, a routine implosion didn't go quite as planned, a demolition team used over 200 pound of explosives to bring down a silo yesterday in Redbank. There was a boom and some movement, but the building did not go down. For about 40 minutes, it leaned to the side. Finally, crews using heavy machinery pushed it over.

Wake Up also had some photo fun. Lindsay brought a pair of pics, showing her horsing around at Michigan State University. It's the third oldest Arabian horse breeding program in the country and Lindsay met a few friends there. She says the horse looked like it was yawning.
