Girlfriend charged in heroin death


WAUSAU (WKOW) – The girlfriend of a Wausau man is charged with supplying the heroin that caused his death.

On March 11, 33-year-old Thomas Knickerbocker was found dead in his home and an autopsy revealed that he had died of a heroin overdose.  According to a police report, there were two young children in the home when Knickerbocker died.

According to the Daily Herald Media, 33-year-old Nycole Creed is charged with a felony count of manufacturing and delivering heroin.  Marathon County Judge Greg Grau ordered that Creed be held on a $10,000 bond.
