Burning ban issued in City of Chippewa Falls

Chippewa Falls (Press Release) - BURNING BAN IN EFFECT IN THE CITY OF CHIPPEWA FALLS

Burning permits will no longer be issued and most outside fires are prohibited effective Wednesday, May 15th until ground and weather conditions improve.

The Wisconsin DNR has also placed a burning ban in their protection areas of responsibility in Chippewa County.  (In the City Limits of Chippewa Falls attended small recreational backyard fire pits and grilling are still allowed with discretion).
