Special ed teacher faces sex-related charges

MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- A Milwaukee special education teacher is facing sex-related charges for allegedly fondling himself in front of four female students.

A criminal complaint filed Saturday is charging 37-year-old Kevin France with four counts of causing a child between the ages of 13 and 17 to view or listen to sexual activity, and two counts of exposing himself.

According to the complaint, France's alleged victims are cognitively delayed and attend Mary McLeod Bethune Academy.

The complaint states the students witnessed France commit sexual actions in front of them when the teacher's aide was not in the classroom.

France remains in custody and online court records do not list a defense attorney.

The principal and direct spokesperson have not immediately returned messages Saturday.
