Drabek sentenced to 15 months behind bars


MADISON (WKOW) -- Joshua Drabek was sentenced at the Dane County Courthouse for the sexual assault of a child.

Drabek was convicted of a felony. He was sentenced to 39 months total -- 15 months of incarceration with 24 months of extended supervision. He is allowed no contact with the girl known as "VKF."

"VKF" was 13 years old, almost 14 years old when the abuse happened. Drabek was 17 years old. Drabek says they were in a relationship together.

In a separate case, Drabek faces charges of child abuse and two counts of sexual assault of a child for allegedly abusing and assaulting his step-sister. His mother, Melinda Drabek-Chritton, and step-father, Chad Chritton, are also charged in that case.
