UPDATE: Carnival ride cleared to operate after investigation

UPDATE (WKOW) --- Inspectors from OSHA cleared a carnival ride in Darlington to operate this weekend.

On Thursday, two employees were injured when the ride collapsed on them during set-up.

Both suffered minor injuries.

DARLINGTON (WKOW) --- Two workers setting up at the Darlington Festival grounds were injured after part of the ride they were setting up fell on them.

It happened just after 1 p.m. Thursday.

Darlington police say the two workers, employed with Spectrum Carnivals, were transported to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County.

OSHA is now investigating the incident.
