UW System regents to vote on pay raise proposal

MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- The UW System Board of Regents is expected to vote Friday on a proposal that could eventually lead to pay raises for all UW System employees.

It could mean they'd be included in any salary hike given to all state employees. The proposal also involves requesting the UW System be given autonomy to provide further salary increases from its own resources.

The plan was passed Thursday by the regents' business, finance and audit committee.
