Former Packers in Chippewa Falls Saturday for fundraiser

Chippewa Falls (WQOW)- Some former Packers will be in the area Saturday to play some flag football, a little "Deal or No Deal" and take part in an annual fundraiser.

Gilbert Brown, Doug Evans, and George Koonce will be at O'Neil Creek Campground in Chippewa Falls Saturday to help raise money for the Gilbert Brown Foundation.  That foundation promotes structure, life-skills, team-building and promoted diversity in youth.  Saturday's events include a mini football camp and a version of Deal or No Deal.

"Gilbert's donating a lot of his prizes like his jerseys, his footballs, Packer tickets," points out O'Neil Creek Campground Owner Geri Walter.  "It's a great cause and it's a great campground so putting the two together is going to work out great."

The games kick off at 1 p.m. Saturday. The event is open to the public and all proceeds will go directly to the foundation.  Adults will pay $3 for admission.  Kids are free.
