Waunakee baseball headed to state with 6-0 win over Middleton

SAUK CITY (WKOW) -- The Waunakee baseball team is headed to state for the first time since 2010, with its 6-0 win over Middleton in a D1 sectional final on Friday. This sectional final was supposed to be played on Tuesday and then Thursday, but was pushed back twice due to weather. For the Warriors it was a 4-run 5th inning, that included three RBI hits that allowed them to get the job done. Waunakee moves on to face Sun Prairie in the state tournament in Appleton on Tuesday at 8 am.
