Man abducted and robbed at gunpoint


MONONA (WKOW) -- Monona police were called to the area of Femrite and Highway 12 Sunday night to meet with Dane County deputies and Cottage Grove police who were with the victim of a robbery.

The 26-year-old male victim stated he was walking in the area of Kings Row and Monona Drive when three males in a van abducted him at gunpoint.

The suspects took the man's shoes, pants, wallet, and cell phone.  They then pushed him out of the vehicle.  He was treated at an area hospital for minor injuries and released.

The descriptions of the suspects are as follows: 

Suspect #1: White male, 21-years-old, short blond hair, wearing a black long-sleeved shirt.

Suspect #2: White male, 30-years-old, dark hair, wearing a sleeveless shirt and a white and green hat.  Subject had tattoos on both upper arms with green ink.

Suspect #3: White male, 21-years-old, wearing a red sleeveless shirt.

The victims stated at some point during the ordeal, the name "Jake" was mentioned.

A blue minivan with a partial license plate combination of S 6 5 was used.
