Police: man abducted, robbed, released

MONONA (WKOW) -- Monona police officials say they are looking for three men who grabbed a pedestrian, forced him into a van, robbed him, and only released him after partially stripping him.

Authorities say a 26-year old man was walking in the area of Kings Row and Monona Drive Sunday at 8:30 p.m. when three men in a van abducted him at gun point.

Officials say the men took the victim's wallet, cell phone, shoes, and pants and pushed him out of the van in the area of Femrite Drive and US 12.

Investigators says his abductors were strangers to him.

Police officials says the van is a blue minivan with a partial license combination of S 6 5.

The three suspects are said to be two caucasian men in their early twenties, and one caucasian man around 30. The older man had tattoos on both upper arms in green ink. Authorities say the name "Jake" was mentioned.
