Davis Drewiske inks 2-year extension with Canadians

Montreal (WQOW) -- Hudson native Davis Drewiske will be staying north of the border for at least two more seasons. Thursday, the defenseman signed a two-year contract extension with the Montreal Canadians.

Drewiske is now under contract until 2015. Terms of the deal were not released. Drewiske won a Stanley Cup with the Los Angeles Kings in 2012, but was traded to the Canadians in early April. In 29 games between L. A. and Montreal, he tallied seven points (2 goals, 5 assists) and had a +3 plus/minus differential.
