Posted:

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police have released photos obtained from a nearby private business surveillance camera of a suspect in an arson incident on McDivitt Road June 9.

The photos confirm a male suspect approached the Dodge Charger carrying a small red container of gasoline and then intentionally set fire to the vehicle.

With the video evidence, there is the possibility the suspect may have been injured during the explosion and subsequent fire.  Detectives are interested in gathering any information about anyone who may have been treated at a nearby medical facility for burns either Sunday, June 9 or Monday, June 10.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact Detective Jerry Johnson, with the South District, at 266-5935.
