10-month-old girl needs transplant after being diagnosed with liver failure

Posted:

MADISON (WKOW) -- A 10-month-old baby girl from Pardeeville needs your help to get a full liver transplant.

Ellie Grace Homan has been diagnosed with liver failure. Her liver failure has been there since she was born. Due to her condition, she has developed cirrhosis or scarring of the liver. Ellie is currently undergoing treatment to help her gain the weight she needs to have the full liver transplant.

Ellie's parents, Tim and Katie Homan, have set up a benefit to help Ellie. It's going on Saturday, June 22 from 11:00 a.m. to midnight at Cambria Fire Station. There will be live music by Dj Little John and a live auction starting at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for adults cost $10 and kids ages 12 and under are $5 dollars. The ticket price includes dinner.

A fund has been set up for Ellie at Markesan State Bank in Randolph for those who wish to make a donation. All of the proceeds go directly to Ellie for the liver transplant.
