WI historical site offers Railroad Days

MADISON (WKOW) – A southwestern Wisconsin historical site will offer a railroad-themed weekend in August.

Railroad Days will be offered at Stonefield on August 17 and 18.  Visitors will get a chance to visit the village's railroad depot, inspect model trains, explore a caboose and visit the "End of the Line" hobo camp.

Tickets cost $9 for adults, $4.50 for children, $7.75 for students and senior citizens.  Families consisting of two adults and two or more children can get in for $24.

Stonefield is located in Cassville and includes a recreation of a 1900 rural village, the estate of Wisconsin's first governor Nelson Dewey and the state agricultural museum.
