Motorcycle driver killed in collision with deer

Jackson County (Press Release) - On June 16, at about 9:45 a.m., the Jackson County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call regarding a motorcycle verse deer crash on County Highway P near Underhill Road in the Town of Curran.

A group of motorcycles were traveling southbound on County Highway P when one of the motorcycles struck a deer and was the driver was ejected from the cycle. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver was wearing a helmet and was unable to avoid the crash.

The driver of the motorcycle was identified as Tim J. Greeno, 53, of Sparta.

The Taylor First Responders, Black River Ambulance and Jackson County sheriff's deputies responded to the scene.
