Truck driver sentenced for disorderly conduct

Dunn County (WQOW) - A Pennsylvania truck driver has been fined for what he said at a Menomonie convenience store last month.

Steve Eliou was accused of telling others in the store the Army fuel tanker he was hauling was stolen and he planned to drive to New York to blow up half the city.  Police said when they arrested him, Eliou told them he was just joking.

He pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct and was fined $267.
