MADISON (WKOW) -- Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker's latest speaking engagement is sure to further fuel speculation he's thinking about a run for President in 2016.
Walker is scheduled to speak at a $250/plate dinner and reception Wednesday night at the Chicago-based Heartland Institute.
In promoting the event, the group's website describes Walker as "the country's most successful and important governor."
The governor was scheduled to speak last year at Heartland's 28th anniversary but canceled due to his wife's emergency appendectomy.
Heartland bills itself as discovering, developing, and promoting free-market solutions to social and economic issues.
The group denies the existence of man-made global warming.
