MADISON (WKOW) -- The National Association of Attorneys General(NAAG) has elected Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen its next president.
NAAG spokeswoman Marjorie Tharp says the organization elected Van Hollen Wednesday, during its summer meeting in Boston.
Each NAAG president selects a focus area for their one-year term and Van Hollen says he'll focus on keeping children safe.
The group will share ideas during NAAG's presidential initiative summit, set for September in Milwaukee.
Van Hollen succeeds Maryland Attorney General Douglas Gansler.
