MILWAUKEE (WKOW) – The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm watch for much of Wisconsin Friday morning as storms roll in from Minnesota.

The NSA says the thunderstorms could become severe with damaging wind, hail and torrential rainfall.

Meteorologist Chris Franks says several Minnesota communities are experiencing flash flooding on Friday after the storms dropped 4 to 5 inches of rain in about three hours in some spots.
