Eau Claire (WQOW) - It was a dark and stormy morning Friday.

Strong storms loaded with lightning blew across western Wisconsin early Friday morning, taking down trees, power lines, and causing other damage. No injuries have been reported.

In New Richmond, strong winds tossed a set of bleachers into the backstop at the high school baseball field.

A crane will have be brought in to move the bleachers. The school estimates damage at about $30,000.

The schools high-jumping pads were also blown away. They ended up in a baseball batting cage.

The St. Croix County sheriff says some roads were blocked by falling trees.
