Packers clarify new Lambeau security rules

GREEN BAY (WKOW) -- The Packers are clarifying what will and won't be allowed inside Lambeau Field starting this coming season.

The NFL's security policy has changed, so the team had a little show and tell on Friday.

The team says solid seat pads, styrofoam boards and seatbacks will be allowed as long as they have solid construction.

But, cushions and seatbacks with zippers, pockets or flaps are not allowed.

"A seat cushion which has pockets and concealable areas where within it, that could house an illegal device which we don't want coming to the gates," said Packers security director, Doug Collins.

The new rules also limit the size of purses, which can't be larger than 12" x  6" x 12", unless they're transparent.
