Northern WI storm damage

HUDSON (WKOW) -- It was a stormy first day of summer for parts of the Midwest.

We had some heavy rain here in southern Wisconsin, but other parts of the state were hit harder.

Strong wind pushed trees into homes in Hudson in northwestern Wisconsin.

The storm also knocked over power lines, leaving more than 100,000 people without power.

Utility crews say it could take a few days to restore power to everyone in the area.
