Facebook bug exposes contact info

MENLO PARK, CA (WKOW) -- Millions of Facebook users may have had their contact information accidentally exposed.

The social network says a bug led some information, like email addresses or phone numbers, to be uploaded by other users.

It happened when someone used the site's "download your information" tool.

The bug caused the user to get information about contacts or people they're connected to.

Facebook says it fixed the problem.

It's in the process of notifying anyone affected by email.
