UPDATE: Police release name of victim from Milton shooting

MILTON (WKOW) -- The Rock County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the victim in a shooting in Milton.

31-year-old Terry J. Rice from Fitchburg was taken to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center early this morning.

He is still in critical, yet non-life threatening condition.

MILTON (WKOW) -- The Rock County Sheriff's Office says police responded to a complaint of shots being fired in Milton Township at 2:44 a.m. on June 22nd.

A 31-year-old male was shot multiple times at the Country Side Bar on State Highway 59.  He was transported to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center where he is currently being treated for his injuries.  The victim's condition is critical, but not life threatening.

Rock County Sheriff's Office is interviewing witnesses and is still investigating.  If you have any information, please call Janesville Area Crime Stoppers at (608)756-3606.  All tips can remain anonymous.
