Madison (WQOW) -- We're about six weeks away from the start of Wisconsin's fall camp, which begins on August 5th. Due to NCAA rules, coaches can't be a part of offseason training with the players, but Saturday Gary Andersen found another way coach.
He and the Wisconsin football program held a youth football camp at the McClain Center. Coach Andersen was there coaching the kids, taking them through drill and teaching the fundamentals of football.
"I don't think there's a coach out there that doesn't thoroughly enjoy kids camp," says Andersen. "That's something we've been able to do for a number of years, at least the guys who have been with me. It's fun to see them, they're excited. It's as fun for us, trust me, as it is for the kids that are out there."
