Madison police seek information on a hit and run


MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police Department are looking for information in regards to a hit and run that happened around 2 a.m. on Saturday, June 22nd.

A 29-year-old Madison man and his friends were on West Johnson Street and North Frances Street early in the morning when a vehicle hit him.  The vehicle did not stop.  The victim was taken to the hospital.

Police are actively investigating this hit and run.  They say the vehicle is possibly a black Volkswagen.  Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at (608) 266-6014.  Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
