Eau Claire Co. (Press Release) - UPDATE: All lanes of I-94 westbound near mile markers 57 & 59 have reopened after two separate crashes.

Eau Claire Co. (Press Release) - At 2:54 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, WI State Patrol Troopers responded to a report of a semi rolled over into the median at mile marker 59 on I-94 westbound.

Troopers arrived on scene and observed the semi was on its side in the median, with the trailer partially blocking lane 1. The driver was not injured and the truck was hauling general freight. The rollover occurred approximately 100 feet west of the construction zone, which was already just one lane of traffic.

At 5:01 a.m., both westbound lanes had to be shut down in order to safely remove the unit. Traffic is not being re-routed and westbound traffic is able to get by using the exit 59 on ramp. Drivers need to be cautious and slow down in that area.
