Eau Claire launches online request form

Eau Claire (WQOW) - The city of Eau Claire is hoping residents will log on to get questions and problems answered.

The city recently launched a citizen request form, online. Anyone in the city can make a report, whether it's about potholes, a message for the police department or just to ask a question of city staff. The requests are forwarded to the correct staff member or department, and then answered. You can also upload a picture. The city says it's a good way to keep in touch with citizens 24-seven.

"You know we need to be creative in responding to requests from citizens and this is one way we can do that. We're trying to do electronic media as much as possible with our website, and we also have our Facebook page," says Eau Claire City Manager Russ Van Gompel.
