Chippewa County (WQOW) - One of the largest country music festivals in the nation is underway in Cadott.
Tens of thousands of music fans are making their way to Chippewa County for Country Fest which started Thursday. The gates opened Thursday afternoon and there were no reports of any major traffic problems.
WQOW News 18 caught up with the Chippewa County Sheriff's Office to talk about traffic.
"There's always some congestion that occurs during the day, but people just have to learn to slow down, be prepared to stop and wait to get in," said Lt. Mitch Gibson.
Miranda Lambert is the headliner for Thursday. Fest runs through Sunday.
