Gov. Walker vetoes 57 budget provisions

Posted:

MADISON (WKOW) -- Gov. Scott Walker's office released a list of 57 vetoes to the state budget Sunday.

In a statement, Gov. Walker said the vetoes will reduce spending by $865,000 over the two year budget.

Among the vetoes, include the highly-debated provision that would have kicked the Center for Investigative Journalism off the UW-Madison campus, and a provision that would have created a bail bondsmen program in Wisconsin.
