Salvation Army of Dane County asking for help in summer kettle campaign

Posted:

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Salvation Army of Dane County is asking for your help this summer.

The local chapter's Summer Kettle Campaign kicks off July 11 and runs through July 20. The theme for the campaign this year is "Hunger Doesn't Take The Summer Off."

The organization is looking for volunteers to help ring bells. There are 37 locations available in the area to volunteer at. If you are interested in volunteering, click here or call the Salvation Army at 608-250-2235 to register.

The Salvation Army of Dane County provides hundreds of meals and food to those who seek assistance either at the shelter or by visiting the food pantry. Additionally, the organization feeds up to 40 children who take part in our summer camp everyday.
