Former bank teller charged with theft and forgery

Eau Claire (WQOW) - An area bank teller is accused of helping herself to $4,000 of the bank's money.

Charges of theft and forgery have just been filed against Alexandra Hilderman, of Menomonie.   Investigators say Hilderman admitted taking the money from Bremer Bank.

Detectives say she told them she had dire financial problems because she's a new mother and her fiance had medical issues that prevented him from working. The bank says the thefts occurred between January and March of this year.
