Eau Claire (WQOW) -- Greg Harisis has been an infielder for the Express this season, but he played center field Tuesday night.
The Yorba Linda, California, native is a senior-to-be at Santa Clara, a program that has sent a number of players to Eau Claire in recent seasons.
"I had a couple teammates play in the league," Harisis says, "Lucas Herbst and Justin Viele both played here for the Express, and they both had great things to say so I heard a lot about it. It's been incredible, having a great time out here, it feels like the minor leagues, just plying ball every day in front of a bunch of fans, it's been awesome.
What hasn't been awesome is Eau Claire's 12-21 record, but Harisis thinks better days are ahead.
"I don't like losing," says Harisis, "so I'm definitely trying to win out here every day, you know, I've got stuff that I need to get better at and same with my teammates, but we're here to win."
