Eau Claire (WQOW) -- Jordan Zimmermann was the first Express player to make it to the majors. Now he is the first to reach the Major League Baseball All-Star Game.
Leading the National League with 12 wins, Zimmermann was voted into the game by his fellow players. In games he has started, the Nationals are 14-3 this season. Since the start of the 2011 season, only three pitchers have a better ERA than Zimmermann's 2.90.
The Major League All-Star Game will be played July 16th in New York.
