Milwaukee police investigate 2 murders 30 minutes apart


MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Milwaukee police are investigating two separate killings that happened in the afternoon on July 6th.

Officers responded to a call around noon and found a 31-year-old man dead on the ground with gunshot wounds.  30 minutes later, officers responded to a report of a stabbing.  A 21-year-old woman died from a stab wound.

A suspect in one case is in custody.  The suspect is a 25-year-old woman.  Police say the suspect had a confrontation with the victim.
