UPDATE: The Wisconsin State Patrol identified the driver as Leah K. Salwey, 20, of Eau Claire. She sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Eau Claire County (WQOW) - A 20-year-old woman was airlifted to the hospital after a rollover accident in Eau Claire County. Her name is not being released.

It happened around 7 p.m. Sunday off Nelson Road in the town of Brunswick. The State Patrol says a trooper clocked the driver going 78 in a 55 mph zone and attempted to pull her over. She kept speeding, and the trooper lost sight of her as he was trying to catch up.

When he found the vehicle, the woman had already crashed, and was ejected from the vehicle. She wasn't wearing her seatbelt.

The State Patrol says speed and alcohol are both believed to be factors in the crash.

She was airlifted to Mayo Clinic in Eau Claire. Crews shut down both ends of the road for about an hour and a half as they cleared the scene.
