Police release description of Baraboo Wells Fargo robber

BARABOO (WKOW) -- Baraboo Police were called to the Wells Fargo Bank on Broadway for a report of a bank robbery.

The incident happened shortly before 11:00 Tuesday morning.  Officers were told a male entered the bank displaying a handgun.  The suspect demanded money and then departed. 

The suspect is described as being approximately 5'9".  He was wearing a black/blue hoodie with white sleeves and stripes with the hood over his head.  He also had on blue sweatpants with stripes down the sides.  He fled the bank on foot.

No one was hurt in the incident.  The case remains under investigation by the Baraboo Police Department, the Sauk County Sheriff's Department and the FBI. 

If anyone recognizes the suspect, contact police immediately.  He is to be considered armed and dangerous.

Police say the male suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark sweat pants with a gray stripe, and did display a handgun.
