Head on crash in Sauk County sends three to the hospital

SAUK COUNTY (WKOW) -- Early Monday evening, the Sauk County Sheriff's Office was called to a head-on crash with multiple injuries.

The accident happened in the Township of Honey Creek near County Highway PF and Church Road.  Sheriff's deputies, the Sauk City Fire Department and Prairie Du Sac Ambulance were sent to the scene.

Preliminary investigation reveals a 1999 Jeep, operated by 22-year-old Kayla Slotty, of Prairie Du Sac, was traveling westbound on PF when she crossed the centerline and struck an eastbound 2001 Chevy truck.  The driver of the truck is 61-year-old Noel McCormick, of Prairie Du Sac.

Med Flight was called and transported Slotty to UW Hospital.  McCormick and his passenger, 60-year-old Gloria McCormick, were both taken to Sauk Prairie Hospital via ambulance.

All occupants were wearing seatbelts and alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this crash.

The Sauk County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the incident.
