Chippewa Co. Historical Society expands hours


Chippewa Falls (Press Release) - The Chippewa County Historical Society has expanded the days the Area History Center is open to the public.

The museum is now open the last Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. The new time is scheduled in conjunction with the Chippewa County Genealogical Society's monthly program meeting.

Tour a 50 room museum and research genealogy and local history in the extensive library.

The Chippewa County Historical and Genealogical Societies are located at 123 Allen St., Chippewa Falls. Open Tuesdays, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., tours at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and the last Saturday of each Month 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. or by appointment.
