LAKE BUTTE DES MORTS (WKOW) -- Search crews near Oshkosh have recovered the body of a skydiver who landed in a lake on Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities say an instructor and student did a tandem jump in Omro, but were blown off course by a storm and ended up in Lake Butte des Morts, about a quarter-mile from shore.

The student swam to shore, but the instructor didn't make it and was found by the Winnebago County dive team just before 5:30 p.m.

The instructor's name has not been released.
