UPDATE: Name released of third person died in Asiana Airlines crash

SAN FRANCISCO (WKOW) -- Chinese state media has identified the third fatality victim of the crash-landing of an Asiana Airlines flight as Liu Yipeng.

China News says she went to school with the other two victims killed in the crash.  Liu Yipeng died Friday morning at San Francisco General Hospital.  She had been in critical condition since the accident on July 6th.

On Chinese social media sites, friends and strangers have left condolences and lit virtual candles on what appears to be Liu Yipeng's micro blog.

SAN FRANCISCO (WKOW) -- Hospital officials say a girl has died from injuries sustained in the Asiana Airlines crash in San Francisco Saturday.

The child had been in critical condition since arriving after the crash. Her parents asked that she not be identified. Officials have also not released her age.

More than 180 people were injured and two were pronounced dead that day. Federal officials say the plane came into the runway too slowly.
