"Safety Town" graduates tenth class

MADISON (WKOW) -- Safety has a new meaning for more than 100 children from the Madison area.

140 kids graduated from "Safety Town", the joint program run by the Madison police and fire departments, along with Madison Area Safe Kids.

The students learn about different safety topics through hands-on activities, like using a small-scale city with streets, homes and sidewalks.

This is the program's 10th graduating class.
