Man airlifted with severe injuries after his motorcycle was struck by deer

PRESS RELEASE FROM TREMPEALEAU COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT:

The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department received a report of a motorcycle vs. deer crash with injury. It happened Saturday at 7:52 p.m.

 

It was determined on scene that a motorcycle was traveling east bound on Kamrowski Road when a deer exited the ditch striking the motorcycle. The driver then lost control, entered the ditch, and was thrown from the motorcycle. The driver, 38 year old Gregory Korpal of Arcadia, Wisconsin, was transported by Medlink Air to Gunderson Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse with severe injuries.

 

The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department was assisted on scene by Arcadia Fire, ambulance, and first responders.
